Our Belgian bluestone is one of the most durable materials on earth. Formed over millions of years, this ancient stone is extracted locally and ecologically in an environmentally friendly way.

This flat garage sill with glued-on edge and beveled nose can easily be completely customized :

  • Bluestone from our own quarry (La Préalle in Sprimont)
  • Finish :
    • Top, front and both heads (5 cm) sanded blue or gray
    • Front and both heads (5 cm) can be optionally edged for a stylish look
  • Straight cut, without drip groove
  • Upside is glued and is 2cm thick and 1cm higher than the surface. As an option it can also be made solid
  • Thicknesses from 5cm to 11cm. Attention the height of the upstand is included and always 1cm more than the upper surface of the sill. A height of for example 5cm gives a sill of 4cm high with an edge of 5cm high.
  • The width includes the width of the upstand. For example, a sill that is 18 cm wide is 18 cm wide in total, so it includes the 2 cm width of the upstand.
  • Full flexibility in dimensions. For lengths > 1.80m the lengths are divided by us. If certain subdivisions are needed please be sure to let us know.
  • Nose at front beveled to allow a car or bicycle to enter easily
