General Terms and Conditions - Online Sales via the Website -Renier Natural Stone -. Version: 27/01/2025

  1. Applicability

1.1 These terms and conditions apply to all orders, transactions and deliveries through Renier Natuursteen's website (hereinafter "the website").
1.2 By placing an order on the website, the customer agrees to these terms and conditions.
1.3 Deviations from these terms and conditions are only binding if agreed upon in writing.

  1. Offer and agreement

2.1 The offer on the website is without obligation and subject to availability.
2.2 An agreement is concluded as soon as the customer places an order and Renier Natuursteen confirms it in writing via an order confirmation.
2.3 Renier Natuursteen reserves the right to refuse an order, for example in the event of incorrect price indications or incomplete customer information.

  1. Prices and payment

3.1 All prices on the website are in euros and include VAT unless otherwise stated. The price in €/m² is given for information and is always exclusive of VAT.
3.2 Any shipping or other additional costs will be clearly displayed during the ordering process.
3.3 Payments are processed securely through Mollie via the payment methods offered (such as Bancontact, credit card or other payment options). The order is processed only after successful payment.

  1. Delivery and execution

4.1 Delivery takes place at the address provided by the customer. Renier Natuursteen is not responsible for errors in delivery caused by incorrect address information.
4.2 Delivery times mentioned on the website are indicative and may vary. Delay does not entitle you to compensation or cancellation of the order, unless otherwise agreed.
4.3 The customer must inspect the delivery upon receipt. Any visible defects must be reported in writing within 48 hours at info@renier.be.

  1. Right of Withdrawal

5.1 Exclusion of right of withdrawal for customized products:
Products that are custom-made to the customer's specifications are not subject to the right of withdrawal (in accordance with Article VI.53 of the Code of Economic Law).

5.2 Right of withdrawal for standard products:

  • For standard products, the customer has a cooling-off period of 14 calendar days from the day of delivery.
  • If the customer exercises the right of withdrawal, this must be notified in writing at info@renier.be and the products must be returned in their original condition and packaging at the customer's expense.
  • Upon proper receipt of the returned products, Renier Natural Stone will refund the purchase price within 14 days.

6.Quality and warranty

6.1 Renier Natuursteen guarantees that the products meet the specifications as stated on the website.
6.2 Products are covered by a 2-year statutory warranty, in which defects not caused by misuse will be repaired or replaced free of charge.
6.3 Natural variations in color, texture or finish of natural stone are inherent in the material and cannot be considered a defect.

  1. Liability

7.1 Renier Natuursteen is not liable for damage resulting from improper use of the delivered products.
7.2 Renier Natuursteen's liability shall in all cases be limited to the amount involved in the order.

  1. Force majeure

8.1 Renier Natuursteen is not liable for delays or damages caused by force majeure, including internet connection failures, payment system problems, natural disasters, strikes or other circumstances beyond Renier Natuursteen's control.
8.2 In case of force majeure, Renier Natuursteen has the right to suspend or terminate the agreement without the customer being entitled to compensation.

  1. Protection of personal data

9.1 Renier Natuursteen processes personal data in accordance with the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
9.2 All information on how we handle personal data can be found in our privacy statement, available on the website.
9.3 Customers have the right to access, amend or delete their personal data and can request this at info@renier.be

  1. Disputes and applicable law

10.1 All agreements through the website are governed by Belgian law.
10.2 Disputes shall preferably be settled amicably. If no solution is reached, disputes shall be submitted to the competent court district of Leuven.
